The candidates declared successful in written and intelligent tests will undergo PAK Army Physical Test, Medical Test, and Preliminary interview at AS&RCs.

However, repeater candidates of the PMA Long Course are only required to undergo Medical/Physical Tests. Whereas, the repeater candidates of TCC, PN, and PAF will undergo complete preliminary tests.

Physical Standards To Join PAK Army

To join PAK Army at any stage given below standards are required to become a part of the Pakistan army. Male and Female Candidates can check mentioned physical standards before registration and prepare themselves fit for PAK Army Physical Test according to their selected Course.

• Height (Minimum)
  • Male: 5′ . 4″ |five feet four inches| (162.5 cm)
  •  Female: 5′ |5 feet| (152.4 cm)
• Vision Standard (Male/Female)
  • Distance vision with glasses 6/9, 6/12
  • Near vision J2, J7 or  Near vision N8, N12 (with or without glasses)
• Weight
  • As per the body mass index (BMI)
• Physical Test
  • Run (1.6 km)
  • Push Ups (15 repetitions)
  • Sit Ups  (20 repetitions)
  • Chin Ups (3 repetitions)
  • Ditch Crossing (7′.4″ × 7′.4″ with a depth of 4′)

How To Clear PAK Army Physical Test

At the time of preliminary selection, a candidate must have to qualify the following physical standards. The time limit for PAK Army Physical Test according to different Courses described in given below table.

• Measure Height:
  To measure your height by yourself standing with your back against a wall draw a line with a pencil to mark the highest point on the top of your head which meets the wall. with the help of tape measure the distance from the floor to that marked point.
• Vision Standard: In young humans, the average visual of a healthy eye is approximately 6/5 to 6/4. so 6/6 visual acuity as perfect vision. A test performed as a candidate have to read English alphabets with a single eye. one by one open an eye to read a chart placed at a distance of 6m (twenty feet)
• Weight, Calculate BMI:
  A candidate has to measure his height and weight and have to calculate the Body Mass Index Value as the normal BMI Value is 18.5-24.9. You can Calculate your BMI online according to your age, weight (mass), and Height.
• Physical Test:
  Candidates have to fulfill the above mention Physical standards.
  • Run 1.6 Km in 8 minutes is most important to clear PAK Amy Physical Test. To achieve 1.6 Km Run, you should have to start practice 15-30 days ago.
  • Push Ups practice for Candidate is necessary to clear the Army Physical Test.
  • Chin Ups with required repetition practice regularly.
  • Sit Ups practice required to clear the Physical test of the Pakistan Army.
  •  Ditch Crossing with a depth of 4 feet and a length and width of 7 feet & 4 inches.

Further Selection

The initial interview will conduct at AS&RCs. Those Candidates who qualifying preliminary selection will be sent to ISSB for further tests. Medical Examination of ISSB Recommended will be carried out at the nearest CMHs. The final selection will be made at GHQ on the basis of the candidate’s overall performance.
