Course Eligibility 2025
The candidate who wants to join PAF through the AD Course must have to fulfill the below-mentioned criteria before registration. If a candidate finds himself eligible for PAF AD Course 2025 registration, he can register online or by visiting PAF I & SC.
Eligibility Conditions:
Following are the eligibility conditions for PAF Air Defence Course.

Ineligibility Conditions:
A candidate will not be eligible for PAF Air Defence Course under the following circumstances
| A candidate who was Twice rejected by Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB). |
| A candidate who was Twice rejected by the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB). |
| A candidate who Dismissed, Removed, or Debarred from any Govt Services |
| Who Tested within (4 months)120 days gap of the previous appearance in ISSB. |
| The candidate was Dismissed/ Removed/ Debarred from Armed Forces, PAK Army, Navy, or PAF. |
| Convicted in a Court of Law for any heinous offense (to be ascertained by the competent military authority). |
| Declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board (AMB). |
| Withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces college or any Armed Forces institution on disciplinary grounds. |
| Withdrawn, discharged, or resigned from any Armed Forces Academy, & Armed Forces Training Institution on any ground. |

How To Apply For PAF AD Course?
To apply for PAF GDP Course a candidate has to check the eligibility criteria of PAF Air Defence Course. If he finds himself eligible for this course he can apply online through the method as given below.

PAF AD Test
When a candidate registers for the AD Course, they must go through a selection process. The first step is the initial written and intelligence test, which is conducted on the date mentioned on their exam slip. On this date, the candidate must visit their designated PAF Selection Center (The selection center is chosen during the registration process and cannot be changed afterward).
At the PAF Selection Center, the candidate’s documents are first verified, and a prospectus fee of 300-500 PKR is collected. Following this, the candidate will take part in an online test conducted on a computer at the center. This test can be challenging for those who are not well-prepared, so proper preparation is essential.
Test Syllabus:

PAF Test Preparation
The PAF AD Test is a challenging process, and around 90% of students fail the initial test. The main reason for this is a lack of proper preparation. Test Reparation Book:
There is only one book available for the preparation of the PAF Air Defence Course initial test, compiled according to the PAF AD Test syllabus. This book is created by PAK Army Guide and Tabeer Academy to help students prepare effectively in a short time. It is specially designed to cover the entire syllabus and includes all important MCQs. If a student studies from this book, they have a great chance to pass the test with high marks.
Test Preparation Course:
Tabeer Academy (tabeer.com.pk) has designed an online test preparation course for the PAF Test. This course is similar to the actual PAF initial test and allows students to practice online. Since many students are not familiar with attempting online tests, this course is an excellent way to practice and build confidence for the PAF online test.
The course covers all important topics and includes key MCQs, along with questions from previous tests. It is highly recommended for preparation, as many students who used this course successfully passed the PAF initial test and joined the PAF as commissioned officers.

Required Documents
Here are the essential requirements for candidates on the initial test day of the AD Course at the PAF I&SC (Selection Center):
- Educational Documents:
- Original certificates and detailed mark sheets of Matric/ICS/F.Sc or equivalent.
- Matric detailed mark sheet is mandatory.
- Original result card is also required.
- Identity Documents:
- For candidates aged 18 and above: Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
- For candidates under 18: Computerized Form “B”
- Original CNIC of a parent/guardian (father & mother).
- Photocopies:
- One set of attested photocopies of all the above-mentioned documents.
- Photographs:
- Three passport-sized colored photos, attested (front and back) by a Principal or Class-1 Gazetted Officer.
- For Repeater Candidates:
- Original NOT RECOMMENDED letter from ISSB along with one photocopy.
Important Notes:
- Old National Identity Cards or outdated Form “B” will not be accepted.
- Only a Smart National Identity Card is required for PAF registration and verification.
