Pakistan Army announced PMA Long Course Online Registration 2026 for commissioned officers. Join Pakistan Army as 17 grad officers joining on the rank of 2nd Lieutenant through PMA Long course. Pakistan Army offers this PMA Long Course twice a year. The PMA long course consists of series such as 

• PMA Long Course Phase I (Registration March-April)
• PMA Long Course Phase II (Registration October-November)

Every year, two PMA Long Courses are announced for open enrollment across Pakistan. In 2026, two PMA Long Courses will also be announced as follows.

• PMA Long Course 156: Registration in April-May 2026
• PMA Long Course 157: Registration in September-October 2026

PMA Long Course Joining Procedure 

Young Blood who want to Join the Pakistan Army as officers have to pass through these stages. PMA Long Course Joining steps are given below.

• Registration
• Initial Test
• ISSB
• Medical
• Final Merit List

PMA Long Course Eligibility Criteria

To Join PAK Army through PMA Long Course. Candidates have to fulfill these eligibility conditions.

• Age:
  17-22 years
• Gender:
  Only male candidates can apply for PMA Long Course 154.
• Marital Status:
  Unmarried ( For serving armed forces for over twenty years married are eligible)
• Nationality:
  All male citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders from Azad Kashmir & Gilgit-Baltistan. (On final selection candidates having dual nationality will have to surrender all other nationalities except Pakistan)
• Physical Standards:
  • Minimum height should be 5′ – 4″ (162.5 cm)
  • Weight as per the Body Mass Index (check normal BMI values)
• Education:
  • Minimum 55% marks in FA/FSc and equivalent.
  • Candidates who secure 60% marks or above in BA/BSc, BA/BSc (Hons), and BBA/BPA, with 50% mks in FA/FSc are eligible for PMA Long Course.

Serving Army Soldiers:

For serving Army Soldiers is 50% marks (Marks Relaxation) in FA/FSc and equivalent

‘A’ level candidates:

A-level candidates applying in Pakistan with an aggregate of 60% marks are eligible. All candidates who passed the A-level examination from abroad are required to submit an equivalence certificate issued by IBCC.

Ineligibility Conditions:

The given below are ineligible for PMA Registration.

• Twice rejected by ISSB.
• Candidate Twice screened out by ISSB.
• Appear for ISSB Teste within 120 days gap of the previous appearance in ISSB.
• Who Dismissed, Removed, or Debarred from any Government Services including Armed Forces.
• Convicted in a Court of Law for any heinous offense (to be ascertained by the competent military authority).
• A Candidate who permanently UNFIT by AMB.
• Medically unfit Candidate (due to Hepatitis B & C).
• The candidate who has withdrawn from any Armed Forces college or from an institution on disciplinary grounds.
• Who withdrawn, discharged, resigned, or purchase of commission from any Armed Forces officers Academy, or from Armed Forces Training Institution on any ground.

Selection Procedure For PMA Long Course

A candidate has to pass through six initial stages at AS & RS to be shortlisted for the ISSB test

1. Online Registration or Registration at AS &RC. For Online Registration Click Here

3. Initial Medical Examination
4. Physical Test for PMA Long Course
5. Initial Interview at AS & RC
6. ISSB Form filling and submission at AS &RC

PMA Initial Test

The initial written/intelligence test for PMA LC will be conducted on a computer and the Test pattern will be as follows.

• Verbal Intelligence Test
• Non-Verbal Intelligence Test
• Academic Test

Verbal intelligence test MCQs will be 85-90 to solve within 30 minutes and if a candidate passes the verbal intelligence test then can start the Non-verbal Intelligence Test (85-90mCQs  to solve within 30 minutes). Candidates can practice online here for PMA Verbal Intelligence Test.

In Academic potion of PMA 153 Long Course. Total 50 MCQs to solve within 25 minutes. The Academic Paper pattern is as follows

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Math
• English
• Pak study
• History of Islam
• World G.K

The Academies PMA Courses Fee Structure is different in each academy and nowadays PMA Long Course fee is 15000-30000 for initial test preparation and also for ISSB fee structure is as 20000-40000 with different terms and conditions.

PMA ISSB Selection

Shortlisted candidates from AS & RC will receive notice for ISSB Test through the website as well as a call up latter at the home address of candidates mentioned in their ISSB form.

• Selection by GHQ on the overall performance of the candidates. ( PMA Long Course Final Merit List)
• The Selected Candidates will have to undergo a training period of 2 years at PMA.

Documents Required at AS & RCs

The following documents will be must at arrival AS & RC.

• All Original certificates, detailed Marks Sheet of Matric (Matric Original Result Card) is necessary.
• Computerized National Identity Card CNIC if age is 18 years or above. Computerized “B” with Guardian’s Computerized National Identity Card CNIC (Father or Mother) for under 18 years candidates.
• One set of all attested photocopies
• 3x Passport size colored photos must be duly attested from both sides (front and back) by Principal, Class-1 Gazetted Officer.
• Original & one Photocopy of ISSB NOT RECOMMENDED is required for Repeater Candidates.

Note: –  Old Computerized National Identity Card will not be accepted
